Top Job Placement Districts in Manhattan

As Building Skills continues to grow, we are excited to have a geographically diverse representation of workers who hail from all areas of New York City. Though our highest number of worker placements comes from the outer boroughs, Building Skills also has a growing number of workers who call Manhattan home.

Since 2018, Building Skills has placed 28 workers from District 8, which includes parts of East Harlem, and 11 workers from District 9, which includes parts of Central Harlem, Morningside Heights, and the Upper West Side. A smaller — but still significant — number of workers also hail from Manhattan Districts 5, 7, and 10.
